The flower from the Tasteful Touches stamp set makes a pretty swag when combined with the leaf stem. Add a few silver leaves for accents as well as rhinestones and metallic ribbon!
Cut Cardstock:
- Card Base: Whisper White – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Seaside Spray – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two
- Second Layer: Whisper White – 5″ x 3 3/4″, cut two
- Flowers: Whisper White – 5″ x 2″
- Leaves: Pear Pizzazz scraps, Silver Foil scraps
Assembly:
Note – all images for card front are from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.
Using Pear Pizzazz ink, stamp the leaf stem several times onto one 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, forming a spray of leaves near the top.
Use Misty Moonlight ink to stamp the greeting. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere this piece to one of the pieces of Seaside Spray cardstock. Wrap a piece of the Seaside Metallic ribbon around the top of the leaf stems and adhere on the back side.
Using Seaside Spray ink and the small blocks image, stamp off onto a piece of scrap paper then stamp the image a few times to fill in the background. Color the leaves with the Light Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends marker. Refer to card photo. Use Seal to adhere the stamped piece to the card front.
Stamp two flowers onto the 5″x 2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock using Seaside Spray ink. Color the flowers with the Light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends and the flower centers with Light Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut the flowers.
Attach the flowers to the card front near the top with dimensionals. Refer to photo for placement.
Using the Forever Flourishing dies, crop the following leaves from a scrap of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Cut the curved leaf in half.
Crop five small leaves from silver foil. Arrange all of the leaves on top of the stamped leaves on the card front and glue in place, tucking the ends under the flowers. Refer to photo.
Make a small bow with the Seaside Spray metallic ribbon and attach it above the flowers with glue dots. Place a few small rhinestones on the card front to add a little bling. Refer to photo.
Inside:
Adhere the remaining piece of Seaside Spray cardstock to the inside of the card with seal. Use Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp the leaf image onto the upper left corner of the remaining piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp a few images of the small blocks background stamp using Seaside Spray ink, stamping off once on a piece pf scrap paper before stamping on the cardstock. Refer to photo.
Use Misty Moonlight ink to stamp Happy Birthday from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
Adhere the completed piece to the inside of the card.
Envelope:
Use Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp the leaf image onto the lower left corner of the envelope. Color the leaves with the Light Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Blends marker.
