Yes, I’m one of those people who loves the winter season with the beauty of the snow and all of the glorious holidays, but I must admit that the pastel colors we associate with Spring do evoke a feeling of peace and well-being. For this Easter card, I have chosen several beautiful spring-like colors that really complement each other well. If you were able to watch my Facebook Live video last Tuesday, I used many of the same colors to create several Easter projects. You can watch the reply here if you missed it!

- First Layer: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two
- Second Layer: So Saffron – 5 1/4″ x 4″

- Wreath: Pear Pizzazz and Sea Foam Green – Cut one Each 4″ x 4″
- Eggs, Bunnies, and Sentiment: Scraps of Basic White
- Bow: Scrap of Highland Heather
Assembly:
Adhere one 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock to the card base. Emboss the So Saffron piece with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder and layer it onto the card front. Adhere the DSP strip to the card front about 1/2″ up from the bottom.
Using the Wreath Builder Dies, crop a wreath with the more intricate leaves from the Pear Pizzazz cardstock and glue it to the card front. Crop a wreath with the flat leaves from Soft Sea Foam cardstock and layer it on top of the Pear Pizzazz wreath. See photo for placement.
Using Magenta Madness ink, stamp the “Happy Easter” greeting onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock and crop with the small Stitched Rectangle die. Attach it to the card front with dimensionals, placing it over the middle of the DSP strip. See photo for placement.
Using the Arrange a Wreath stamp set, stamp several eggs onto Basic White cardstock using different colors of ink. For my card, I used Magenta Madness, Highland Heather, Mango Melody, and Balmy Blue ink. Crop the eggs with the corresponding dies and use dimensionals to attach five of them to the wreath.
Crop a bow out of Highland Heather cardstock and attach it to the wreath with glue. Place a Pastel Pearl in the center of the bow. Use three of the remaining eggs to decorate the greeting. See photo for placement of all of these pieces.
For the bunnies inside the wreath, stamp the image from the Oval Occasions stamp set onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Smoky Slate ink. Color the bunnies’ ears with Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends and the grass with Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. Crop with the second smallest circle from the Layering Circle dies and glue to the card front inside the wreath.
Inside:
Use the color ink of your choice to stamp two eggs onto the lower-left corner of the remaining piece of Basic White cardstock. I used Magenta Madness on one egg only, stamped it, then used Mango Melody on the other egg and stamped that next to the other egg.
Use Magenta Madness ink to stamp the greeting of your choice to the cardstock. I used a retired stamp from a stamp set called “For Peep’s Sake,” but any sentiment you like would work!
For the envelope, I stamped a set of eggs onto the lower-left corner of the envelope using Magenta Madness ink.
