I’m really enjoying making cards and projects with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle! The strawberry images are so cheery, they brighten up any project. I made a cute treat basket and card on my Facebook Live last Tuesday. If you missed the video, it’s on my group Facebook page, Friends Who Like Time4Stamping.
You can watch the replay of the video here.
I’m sharing another simple card I made with the set. I used the strawberry image to create my own background paper, then used the simple flower sprig as the focal point. I added one strawberry popped up with dimensionals to finish it off.
Here are the easy directions for this card:
- The card base is Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.
- Layer a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock on top
- Stamp a background of strawberries onto a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock. Use Real Red ink for the strawberry outline and Poppy Parade ink for the solid strawberry image. Use garden Green ink for the calyx. Adhere this piece to the card front.
- Stamp the strawberry flower sprig onto a 3 5/8″ x 2 5/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Color the leaves with Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends marker and the flower centers with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends marker. Stamp the greeting onto the upper right corner of this piece with Garden Green ink. Adhere this to a 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock, then attach to the card front with dimensionals.
- Stamp a strawberry onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink for the outline and Poppy Parade ink for the solid image. Use the coordinating punch to crop the strawberry.
- Stamp the calyx outline with Garden Green ink onto a scrap of Granny Apple Green cardstock, crop with the coordinating punch, and glue to the top of the strawberry. Attach the completed strawberry to the card front with dimensionals.
For the inside:
- Stamp a strawberry onto the lower left corner of a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8 piece of Basic White cardstock. Use Real red ink for the strawberry outline, Poppy Parade ink for the solid strawberry image and Garden Green for the solid calyx image. Stamp a sentiment if desired or leave blank to write your own message.
Envelope:
- Stamp a strawberry as you did for the inside onto the lower-left corner of the envelope. As an alternative, stamp the flower sprig onto the envelope instead of the strawberry as you did for the card front.
