Have I mentioned that Fall is my favorite season? If you don’t know the answer to that, you haven’t been following me for long! 🙂
I’m offering another card here using the Pretty Pumpkins bundle that I’ve combined with the Welcoming Woods stamp set. I love how it turned out!
To duplicate this card, you will need the following cardstock:
- Card Base: Cajun Craze – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Crumb Cake – 5 1/4″ x 4″, cut two
- Second Layer (front): Very Vanilla – 4″ x 3 1/4″
- Second layer (inside): Very Vanilla – 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Pumpkins: Scrap of Very Vanilla
Assembly:
- Embossing one piece of the Crumb Cake cardstock with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the card base. Make sure the grain of the bark is going up & down and not side to side.
- Use Crumb Cake ink to stamp the tree image from the Welcoming Woods stamp set onto the 4″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. NOTE: Stamp off once on a piece of scrap paper so the image is more subtle than with full-strength ink. Using Cajun Craze ink, stamp the small leaf image twice over the trees to resemble falling leaves. Refer to photo for placement. Adhere this piece to the card front using dimensionals.
- Stamp the pumpkin image from the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock using Cajun Craze ink. Color the pumpkins with Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends, Light and Dark Crumb Cake for the stems, and Light and Dark Old Olive for the leaf. Crop with the corresponding die. Fussy cut the two smaller pumpkins and adhere them to the card front with dimensionals, very slightly overlapping the smaller one on top of the larger one. Refer to photo for placement.
For the inside:
- Adhere the remaining piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to the inside of the card.
- Use Cajun Craze ink to stamp the sentiment and falling leaves onto the remaining piece of Very Vanilla cardstock then adhere to the inside of the card.
Envelope:
- Use Cajun Craze ink to stamp the falling leaves image onto the lower-left corner of the envelope.
