The Eden’s Garden bundle and coordinating products will be in the upcoming January mini catalog, but they’re available for pre-order now. While the stamp set has lovely floral images and sentiments, the set, especially with the coordinating dies and Specialty Designer Paper, also makes beautiful Christmas cards!
You can make this card very quickly, which is great if you still have a bunch of Christmas cards to make!
- The Shaded Spruce card base is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.
- The first layer is Basic White and is 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″. You will need two of these, one for the front layer and one for the inside.
- Cut a piece of Ever Eden DSP at 5 1/4″ x 4″ and adhere to the front of the card.
- Crop the large floral frame from the die set out of gold foil and glue it to the front of the card.
- Using Real Red ink, stamp “Merry Christmas” from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock and crop with the Stitched Rectangle die. Adhere to the card front with dimensionals.
- For the inside, stamp the small leaf stem from the Eden’s Garden stamp set onto the upper left corner of the remaining piece of Basic White cardstock using Shaded Spruce ink. Stamp the sentiment of your choice using Real Red ink. For my sample, I used a sentiment from the For Unto Us stamp set. Adhere the completed piece to the inside of the card.
- Use Shaded Spruce ink to stamp the small leaf stem onto the lower-left corner of the envelope.
If you’re going to make a bunch of these cards, I would suggest cropping all of the gold floral frames first – that way, you’re ready to assemble your cards.
