FB Live Recap: Hues of Happiness Fun-Fold Card

For my video this week, I made a fun-fold card that is easy to make but has a big “wow” factor. Another great thing about it is that you can use up many of your DSP scraps! For my project, I used several of the papers from the Hues of Happiness pack.

If you missed the live presentation, you can watch the replay here. Join me each Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET for a video where I demonstrate a project or two for you.

Here are the cardstock requirements to make this fun-fold card:
  • Card Base: Granny Apple Green – 10 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 1 3/4″, 3 1/2″, 7″ &  8 3/4″, Turn to short side and cut between the first and last score marks at 1 1/2″ & 4″
  • Note – for each of the DSP sections, use a different pattern of DSP
  • Two End Long Panels: DSP – 5 1/4″ x 1 1/2″
  • Four Small Panels: DSP – 1 1/2″ x 1 1/4″
  • Middle Panels Between the Small Panels: DSP – 2 1/4″ x 1 1/2″
  • Middle Section: DSP – cut one at 3 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ & two at 2 1/4″ x 1 1/2″
  • Layers for Stamped Images: Granny Apple Green – 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ and 3″ x 2″
  • Stamped Images: Basic White – 3 1/4″ x 2″ and 2 3/4″ x 1 3/4″

Here’s the same card with Daffodil Delight as the card base instead of Granny Apple Green. Which do you prefer?
