I demonstrated a quick and easy fun-fold card in my video this week using the Perched in a Tree bundle. Although I made it a Christmas card, switch the sentiment and it could also be a pretty winter birthday card. The fun-fold is very simple and a great way to show off your favorite Designer Series Paper. If you missed the live presentation, you can watch the replay here.
Here are the cardstock dimensions for the fun-fold card:
- Card Base: Balmy Blue – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 2″ , 3 1/8″ 5 3/8″ 6 1/2″
- First Layer Center Panel: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 2 1/8″
- First Layer Side Panels: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 1 7/8″ (cut two)
- Second Layer Center Panel: Storybook Gnomes DSP – 5 1/4″ x 2″
- Second Layer Side Panels: Storybook Gnomes DSP – 5 1/4″ x 1 3/4″
- Bird, Branch, and Greeting: Scraps of Basic White
- Layer Under Greeting: Scrap of Pacific Point
For the Wintry Trees/Leaves card, you need the following cardstock:
- Card Base: Balmy Blue – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Snowflake Specialty Vellum – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Second Layer: Basic White – 5 1/4″ x 4″cropped with Aspen Tree Die
- Leaves: Scraps of Silver Foil Paper
- Greeting: Scrap of Basic White
- Inside: Basic White – 5 1/4″ x 4″
