For my video this week, I pulled out the Cheerful Daisies bundle again. It’s such a fun set to work with! I made an explosion card, which is another great fun-fold card that is very easy to make – you don’t even need a scoring board to make the folds. It looks like a typical flowery card, but when you open it it has a big “wow” factor. I also made a standard birthday card just for fun.

For the Explosion card, you will need the following cardstock:
- Card Base: Moody Mauve – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Basic White –Â 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Second Layer: Bubble Bath – 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Daisies and Greeting: Scraps of Basic White
- Stamped Leaves: Scraps of Granny Apple Green
- Lacy Leaves: Scraps of Garden Green
- Inside: Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper – 8″ x 8″
- Sentiment: Basic White – 3 1/2″ x 3″
Here are the cardstock requirements for the standard birthday card:
- Card Base: Berry Burst – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Basic White – 5 1/4″ x 4″ (cut two)
- Second Layer: Fresh Freesia – 4 1/2″ x 3″, cropped with Deckled Rectangle die
- Daisy and Greeting: Scraps of Basic White
- Leaves: Scraps of Granny Apple Green
