With the Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set, you can create the prettiest little pumpkin farm settings. This card is a simple fun-fold card with the pumpkin farm centered within the Spotlight On Nature circle die.
Here’s how to make this card:
- The card base is Old Olive 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ and 2 1/8″. Fold back and adhere the left side at the score line to make a 2 1/8″ front flap.
- Adhere a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to the inside and a 5 3/8″ x 2″ piece of Very Vanilla to the front flap.
- Layer a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Country Woods DSP to the inside and a 5 1/4″ x 1 7/8″ piece to the front flap.
- Crop two circles of Cajun Craze from the large Spotlight on Nature die and two Very Vanilla circles from the next-largest Spotlight on Nature die. (Refer to photo to see which die cuts to use).
- Stamp a sentiment of your choice onto one of the Very Vanilla circles and adhere to a Cajun Craze circle. Center and adhere this to the inside of the card. For my card, I used a sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set.
- For the front pumpkin scene, refer to the photo for placement of the images. Use Old Olive to stamp the grass. You may have to stamp the image a couple of times to get the desired effect!
- Use Cherry Cobbler to stamp the barn and Early Espresso to stamp the roof.
- Use Pecan Pie to stamp the tiny fence on each side of the barn.
- Using Crumb Cake, stamp the tree trunk images twice, and then use Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze to stamp the leaves for the trees.
- Using Pecan Pie, stamp the large fence near the bottom of the circle.
- Use Pumpkin Pie to stamp the pumpkins and Pecan Pie for the pumpkin stems. Stamp as many pumpkins as you want in various sizes.
- Use a Water Painter and Balmy Blue ink to add a little color to the sky. Using a clean Water Painter, add Crumb Cake ink for the ground around the pumpkins and up to the grassy area. When adding the sky and ground colors, be careful not to touch your stamped images, or they will get muddied!
- Adhere the finished stamped circle to the Cajun Craze circle. Place dimensionals on the back of the LEFT HALF of this piece. CLOSE the flap. Align the circle over the circle on the inside of the card so the inside circle is completely hidden when the card is closed. Refer to photo.
- If desired, stamp a line of pumpkins on the lower left corner of the envelope using Pumpkin Pie ink and Pecan Pie for the stems.
