Fall Leaves and Pumpkins

Make a pretty card with the Changing Leaves bundle and add just a tiny group of pumpkins for a special touch! The gold and Distressed Gold leaves also add to the elegance of this card.

Here are the steps to recreate this card:

  • Card Base is Cajun Craze, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • For the background layer, emboss a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Changing Leaves embossing folder. Lightly color it with Cajun Craze using a Blender Brush, then adhere it to the card front.
  • Use Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the large leaf onto a scrap of Old Olive cardstock and crop with the large die.
  • Use Cajun Craze ink to stamp the maple leaf image onto a scrap of Cajun Craze cardstock and crop with the large die.
  • Crop two lacy leaves from Gold Foil paper and two small leaf branches with Distressed Gold Foil paper.
  • Crop one sprig from Gold Foil Paper and one from Mossy Meadow cardstock.
  • Arrange all of the leaves and the Meadow Sprig onto the card front and glue in place.
  • Use Pumpkin Pie ink to stamp the pumpkin image onto Peach Pie cardstock. Add the pumpkin stems with Pecan Pie ink. Use dimensionals to attach them to the card front over the leaf stems. Refer to photo for placement.
  • Stamp the greeting with Cajun Craze ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla, crop with the small label die and attach to the card front with dimensionals. I used a greeting from the Rustic Crate bundle.
  • Cut the Gold Foil sprig apart to make two small sprigs and glue in place behind the greeting.

  • For the inside, stamp a sentiment of your choice using Cajun Craze ink onto a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Vary Vanilla cardstock.
  • If desired, stamp the pumpkins onto the lower left corner of this piece. Adhere to the inside of the card.

  • If desired, stamp the pumpkins onto the lower left corner of the envelope.
