The simplicity of the shepherd holding a lamb is such a precious image for the Christmas season. For this week’s video, I combined this image with the arch die from the Garden Meadow die set as well as several foliage sprigs from the Painted Lavender set. Here are the cardstock requirements for the blue card:
- Card Base: Blueberry Bushel – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Meandering Meadows DSP – 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Second Layer: Very Vanilla 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ cropped and embossed per video instructions
- Shepherd: Very Vanilla – 4″ x 2 1/2″
- Foliage: Scraps of Wild Wheat and Crumb Cake
- Star: Scrap of Silver Foil Paper
- Inside: Very Vanilla – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
For the red card, you will need the following cardstock:
- Card Base: Cherry Cobbler – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Season of Elegance DSP – 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Stamped Piece: Very Vanilla – 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″, cropped with Garden Meadow die
- Foliage: Scraps of Distressed Gold Paper
- Star: Scrap of Gold Foil
- Inside: Very Vanilla – 5 1/4″ x 4″
The die I used for the star is from a retired set called Stars at Night. If you don’t have this set, there are many other sets that have various sizes of star dies that you could use.
