FB Live Recap: Shepherd’s Care Revisited

For my video this week, I revisited the Shepherd’s Care stamp set to make some quick and easy Christmas cards. For the cards pictured above, strips of designer paper are the backdrop for the shepherd. You can use whatever designer paper you like to cut the strips, then coordinate the cardstock to match.

For these cards, you will need the following cardstock:
  • Card Base: Very Vanilla – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
  • First Layer: Cherry Cobbler OR Pretty Peacock – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, embossed with Timber 3D OR Distressed Tile embossing folder
  • Second Layer: Very Vanilla – 4 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
  • DSP Strips: Season of Elegance OR Oxidized Copper – 5″ x 5/8″
  • Stamped Layer: Very Vanilla  – 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″, stamped and cropped with 4th largest Deckled Rectangle die
  • Inside First Layer: Cherry Cobbler OR Pretty Peacock – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Second Layer: Very Vanilla –  5 1/4″ x 4″

The cards pictured below are very quick to make using a layer of embossed cardstock and a layer of designer paper. Place the stamped shepherd as the focal point. This is a great card to make if you have a lot of cards you want to make but are short on time.
