Fright Night and Damask Designs

Here’s another unique Halloween card that combines the Fright Night bundle with flowers. The flowers used for this card come from the Stippled Roses bundle. Color them with blends markers and then use a sponge dauber to add a little Memento ink to them.

1. The card Base is Basic Black – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.
2. Cut a dark Cherry Cobbler piece of Autumn Splendor DSP at 5 1/4″ x 4″ and emboss with the Damask Designs embossing folder. Use a piece of fine sand paper and lightly rub over the embossed design. Adhere to the card front.
3. Use Memento ink to stamp the sentiment on a 4 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Crop with the corresponding die and attach to the card with dimensionals.
4. Stamp two roses from the Stippled Roses bundle on a scrap of Basic White cardstock. Color the flowers with Dark Real Red Blends and add Dark Cherry Cobbler Blends . Color the Leaves with Dark Old Olive Blends. Use a sponge dauber to pounce a little black Memento ink on the flowers and leaves to tone down the color. Crop with the corresponding dies. Use dimensionals and glue to add the flowers to the card front, slightly overlapping the flowers over the greeting.
5. Crop a spider web from Basic Black cardstock, tuck the end under the flowers and glue in place. If desired, apply Wink of Stella to the spider web to add a little glimmer.Crop a spider from Basic Black cardstock and adhere to the lower flower.

1. For the inside, use Memento ink to stamp the sentiment and a rose to the lower left corner of a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White cardstock. Color the flower as you did before. Adhere to the inside of the card.
