Autumn Wishes

The Amber Autumn bundle has a great background leaf die that really compliments the images from the stamp set. For this card, I used Blending Brushes to add color to the die cut background and I love how it turned out.

The card base is Basic Beige, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.

Cut a piece of Very Vanilla at 5 1/4″ x 4″. Use Blending Brushes and ink pads to add color randomly to this piece. The colors I used for this card are Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow. Place the background leaf die in the center to crop. Layer this onto a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Crumb Cake card stock then adhere to the card front.

Use early Espresso ink to stamp the greeting onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock, then crop with a die from the Sentimental Framing die set or Textured Notes die set, keeping the stamped greeting to the far right of the die. Adhere this to the cardfront toward the right side.

Use Early Espresso to stamp the image onto a 3 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Basic Beige cardstock. Color the acorns with Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Stampin’Blends markers. Color & blend the leaves with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze Stampin’Blends. Crop with the corresponding die and adhere to the card front with Dimensionals.

Crop three leaves from Basic Beige cardstock. Use Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze ink and Sponge Daubers to add color to the leaves. Glue to the card front, tucking the ends under the stamped image, and slightly overlapping the greeting.

Add a Cajun Craze and Gold Dot to the greeting.

Use Early Espresso ink to stamp a sentiment onto a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and adhere to a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ of Crumb Cake cardstock. Adhere this to the inside of the card. If desired, crop two leaves from Basic Beige and add color as before, then glue to the upper left corner of the inside of the card.
