YouTube Video Recap – Fun-fold Christmas Card

 

Here is a simple fun-fold card that can be used to make very special Christmas cards. It makes up very quickly because the Designer Paper does most of the work for you. Keep it simple by stamping only a greeting and sentiment, or use your favorite stamp set to add a focal point.  Add embellishments as desired.

Here are the cardstock requirements needed for the card above:

  • Card Base: Real Red – 11″ x 4 1/4″, score at 5 1/2″  and 2 3/4″
  • Cardstock Panels: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 4 1/8″ x 2 5/8″(cut two)
  • Traditions of Christmas Specialty Paper: 5 1/4″ x 4″ and 4″ x 2 1/2″ (cut two)
  • Stand Up Panel: Gold Foil: 4 1/4″ x 3″  and Basic White – 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″
  • Inside Greeting Strips: Gold Foil – 2  3/8″ x 7/8″, Real Red – 2 1/4″ x 3/4″, Basic White – 2 1/8″ x 5/8″

The card below uses A Child Is Born stamp set as well as some silver foil and Night of Navy leaf embellishments made with the Label Me Grateful dies.

  • Card Base: Night of Navy – 11″ x 4 1/4″, score at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″
  • Cardstock Panels: Boho Blue – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 4 1/8″ x 2 5/8″ (cut two)
  • Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4″x  4″ and 4″ x 2 1/2″ (cut tw0)
  • Stand Up Panel:  Night of Navy – 4 1/2″ x 3″ and Basic White -4″ x 2 1/2″
  • Inside Greeting Strips: Night of Navy – 2 5/8″ x 1 1/8″, Boho Blue – 2 1/2″ x 1″, Basic White – 2 3/8″ x 7/8″
  • Leaves: Scraps of Night of Navy and Silver Foil

I’ve listed the products I used for these cards below.The stamp set I used for one of the sentiments and the small flower are retired (Illuminated Christmas). If you don’t have this set, use the supplies you have to create your card.
