A Child Is Born – Easy Fun-fold Video Recap

This Christmas card is a very simple fun-fold card which I explain in detail in my Youtube video which you can watch here. I used Stampin’ Blends markers to color the image but you can use watercolor pencils if you want a more pastel look.

Here’s a little hint for you — if you stamp the image with a water base ink such as Night of Navy and you want to use watercolor pencils to color the image, use a Stampin Blends color lifter to blend the colors. The marker is alcohol base and will not cause the water based ink to run.

Cardstock dimensions are as follows:

  • Card Base: Misty Moonlight – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
  • Card Base Flap: Misty Moonlight – 11″ x 2 1/4″, score at 5 1/2″
  • Inside DSP:  Garden DSP – 5 3/8″ x 2″
  • Inside Cardstock: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 2 1/8″
  • Front Flap DSP: Peaceful Garden DSP – 5 3/8″  2 1/8″
  • Arch: 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ (cut two)
