Soft Succulents

Currently in the middle of a very cold snowy winter but I’m enjoying the few succulents I have under a grow light. With that mind, I pulled out the Rustic Centerpieces stamp set and used the succulents image to create this card.

For the pastel background, I used Soft Sea Foam for the card base and a layer of Petal Pink cardstock  embossed with the Joined Together embossing folder. I adhered a piece of Kintsugi Inspirations DSP to a piece of gold foil to complete the background. The image is stamped on Basic White cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with gold. I then cropped it with one of the Textured Notes dies. I chose to color the image with Stampin’Blends markers, using the light shades of Soft Sea Foam, Highland Heather, Pretty in Pink, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake. I added a tiny Brushed Brass Butterfly as an accent  and gold heat embossed a greeting to finish the card front.

For the inside I added a layer of Petal Pink cardstock and a second layer of Basic White cardstock cropped with a larger Textured Notes die.

If you don’t haver the Rustic Centerpieces set, any floral image would also  work as a focal point for this card.

Here are the cardstock dimensions for this card front:
