Tutorial: Ornate Bouquet

Here is a lovely bouquet inspired by the colors of the coordinating Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper. The Stampin’ Blends markers make it so easy to color!

Cut Cardstock:

Assembly:

Use snail to adhere one piece of the Terra Cotta Tile cardstock to the card front. Layer the coordinating Designer Series Paper to this piece using snail.

Using the larger die from the Ornate Layers dies, crop the 5 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Adhere this to the cardfront. I like to use multipurpose glue for this to make sure the intricate design on the edges is adhered.

Using Memento ink, stamp the flower bouquet from the Ornate Style stamp set onto the 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Use Stampin’ Blends markers to color the image. The colors I used for the flowers are Daffodil Delight Combo, Calypso Coral Combo, Light Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody Combo and Dark Soft Suede for some of the flower centers. I used Old Olive Combo for the leaves. Fussy cut the flower bouquet and use dimensionals to attach to the card front.

Inside:

Adhere the remaining piece of Terra Cotta Tile cardstock to the inside of the card using snail.

Use Memento ink to stamp the small flower from the Ornate Style stamp set to the lower left corner of the remaining piece of Whisper White cardstock. Color the flower with Calypso Coral and Old Olive Combo Stampin’ Blends markers.  Stamp the sentiment of your choice to this piece using Memento ink. I used one of the sayings from the Peaceful Moments stamp set for the sentiment. Snail the completed piece to the inside of the card.

Envelope:

Using Memento ink, stamp the small flower image from the Ornate Style stamp set onto the lower left corner of the envelope. Color the flower with Stampin’ Blends markers as you did for the inside of the card.
