The Life Is Beautiful stamp set is so versatile! Here’s the second card in my series using this stamp set. It has an Autumn look to it and is so different from the previous one I highlighted.
Cut Cardstock:
- Card Base: Pumpkin Pie – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Cinnamon Cider – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two
- Second Layer: Very Vanilla – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″, cut two
Assembly:
*Note – all stamps used are from the Life Is Beautiful stamp set.
Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere one piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock to the card base.
Using Cinnamon Cider ink, stamp the tree onto one of the pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock. For the leaves, use Pumpkin Pie ink and stamp the leaf image several times over the tree branched and on the ground. Now use the leaf image with Crushed Curry ink to stamp more leaves on the tree and the ground. See photo for placement.
With Early Espresso ink, stamp the greeting next to the tree.
To make the birdhouse image, color the birdhouse on the stamp with the Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write marker and the tiny birds with the Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Write marker. Huff on the stamp to remoisten the ink before stamping the birdhouse under the left side of the tree. See photo for placement.
When you have finished stamping, emboss the cardstock with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder, then adhere to the card front.
Inside:
Adhere the remaining piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock to the inside of the card. Using Cinnamon Cider ink, stamp a portion of the tree branches onto the upper left corner of the remaining piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Stamp the leaf image a few times over the branches with Pumpkin Pie ink, then stamp again using Crushed Curry ink. Adhere the completed piece to the inside of the card.
Envelope:
Using Merry Merlot and Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Write markers, color the birdhouse as you did before and huff on it before stamping onto the lower left corner of the envelope.
