For my Facebook Live video this week, I pulled out the Friendly Flamingo Bundle again and created a birthday card and thank-you card. I wanted to use the Flower and Field DSP that is a free item during Sale-a-bration and I thought the flamingos were a perfect focal point.
I did have a little help designing the projects from our new puppy, Bentley. He just turned 9 weeks old and as puppies do, demands a lot of attention.

For the Birthday card you will need the following cardstock:
- Card Base: Flirty Flamingo – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two
- Second Layer: Flower and Field Designer Series Paper – 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Ornate Frame: Basic White – 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″
- Flower and Greeting: Scraps of Basic White
- Flamingo: Love You Always Foil Sheets Rococo Rase – 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″
- Inside Strip: Flower and Field – 4″ x 1/2″
For the Thank-you Card, the following cardstock is needed:
- Card Base: Basic White – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First layer: Flirty Flamingo – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two
- Second Layer: Flower and Field Designer Series Paper – 5 1/4″ x 4″, cut two, then cut each diagonally (this will give you enough for two cards)
- Flamingo: Basic White – 4″ x 3″
- Greeting: Basic White – 2 1/4″ x 1/2″
- Foliage: Love you Always Foil Sheets Blushing Bride – 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ plus 2 3/4″ x 1 1/2″ for inside
