“These Little Piggies” Tutorial Series: Hogs and Kisses

This is the second notecard in my ‘This Little Piggy’ series! The four different designs of the little pigs in this stamp set are perfect for making a set of notecards for yourself or as a gift for someone special.

Cut Cardstock:
Assembly:

Emboss one piece of the Flirty Flamingo cardstock with the Striped Scallops embossing folder and snail to the card front.

Cut the 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ Crumb Cake cardstock with the largest scalloped square from the Layering Squares framelits.

Using Stazon ink, stamp the Hogs and Kisses pig onto the 3″ x 3″ Whisper White cardstock.  Using the Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen, gently color the stamped image. I used Calypso Coral for the pig, Old Olive for the grass and Bermuda Bay for the sky. I used the Basic Gray pencil full strength for the hooves.

Cut out the stamped image with the largest square from the Stitched Shapes framelits. Use dimensionals to attach this piece to the Crumb Cake scalloped square, then use dimensionals to attach to the card front.

If desired, place a heart epoxy droplet above the pig’s face.

Cut a 5/8″ short strip of pink All My Love designer paper and flag one end with your paper snips. Cut a 1/2″ short strip of tan All My Love designer paper and flag one end. Snail the flags to the card front at the bottom of the focal point, tucking the ends under the Crumb Cake square.

Inside:

Snail the remaining Flirty Flamingo piece to the inside of the notecard, then snail the 4 5/8″x 31/8″ piece of Whisper White cardstock to the inside as well.

Stamp a sentiment inside or leave blank to write your own message.
