One simple branch of silver embossed leaves is the perfect compliment to the Birch background in Seaside Spray.
Cut Cardstock:
- Card Base: Seaside spray – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/2″
- First Layer: Whisper White – 5 1/4″ x 4″, cut two
- Banner: Seaside Spray – 3 7/8″ x 7/8″
- Greeting: Whisper White – 3 1/2″ x 5/8″
- Inside Strip: Seaside Spray – 4 x 3/8″
Assembly:
Using Seaside Spray ink and the Birch stamp, stamp off once on a piece of scrap paper before stamping the background onto a 5 1/4″ x4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamping off will give you a lighter shade of Seaside Spray for the background.
Use Versamark to stamp the leaf spray from the Very Versailles stamp set onto the Birch stamped cardstock. Sprinkle with Silver Embossing powder and set with heat tool. Snail this piece to the card front.
Use Versamark to stamp the greeting from the Very Versailles stamp set onto the 3 1/2″ x 5/8″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Sprinkle with Silver Embossing powder and set with heat tool. Snail onto the 3 7/8″ x 7/8″ strip of Seaside Spray cardstock, then use dimensionals to attach to the card front near the bottom.
Make several small loops with the Silver Metallic Thread and use a glue dot to adhere to the top of the silver embossed leaf spray. Place a large clear faceted gem over the glue dot. Refer to photo for placement.
Inside:
Use Versamark to stamp the leaf spray partially onto the remaining piece of Whisper White cardstock toward the upper left side. Sprinkle with Silver Embossing powder and set with heat tool.
Snail the Seaside Spray strip to the top of this piece. Wrap the Silver Metallic Thread around the center of the strip three times, adhere to the back with snail. If desired, stamp a greeting of your choice with Versamark to this piece, sprinkle with Silver Embossing powder and set with heat tool. Snail the completed piece to the inside of the card.
Envelope:
Use Versamark to stamp a portion of the leaf spray onto the lower left corner of the envelope. Sprinkle with Silver Embossing powder and set with heat tool.
