Product Spotlight: Take Your Pic Tool

When I teach my card classes, one of the biggest pet peeves I hear is that it is often difficult to pick up small embellishments such as pearls, rhinestones, and sequins, or even peel the paper backing off of dimensionals. Some people struggle with these tasks using their fingers while others have tried some creative approaches like using a toothpick, tweezers, the tip of their paper snips, or even a paperclip. While these things may help a bit, they are not a perfect solution. The Take Your Pic Tool is that solution! It’s a compact tool that has multiple tips and uses.

The tacky putty tip is perfect for picking up sequins and small paper pieces and placing them exactly where you want them on your project.

The other end of the tool has an interchangeable tip.

The mini spatula is great for taking the pearls and rhinestones off of their paper and easily transferring them to your card or project.

Flip the tip to the other side and you will have a pointy tip, which is a great help in getting the paper backing off of dimensionals and tear & tape. I like to use it especially with the mini-dimensionals. It can also be used as a paper piercer or those times when you need to poke a hole into cardstock to place a brad more easily.

The stylus tip has two different size stylus when you need to score your cardstock. If you are making a treat bag or box, sometimes you need something to help push the tight corners into place. Instead of using the point of your paper snips, which can tear the cardstock, or a pencil tip (which leaves marks), use the stylus tip!

The tips are very easy to change – just twist to unlock and gently pull. It comes with one extra tacky putty tip, and you can order extras as needed. This is one tool that is well worth it as all the handy little gadgets are in one place.

Put an end to your pet peeves and make your craft time just that much more enjoyable by treating yourself to the Take Your Pic Tool!
