Tutorial: Colorful Zebras

 

Zebras don’t have to be black and white! What could be cuter than these sweet zebras in some of the bright new In Colors?

 

 

Cut Cardstock:

*NOTE–all stamps used are from the Zany Zebra stamp set.

 

Assembly:

Adhere the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of DSP to one of the 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ pieces of Coastal Cabana cardstock using Stampin’ Seal, then adhere to the card baseLayer the Magenta Madness DSP strip onto the card front about 1/2″ from the left side.

Using Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness and Just Jade inks, stamp the zebras onto scraps of Whisper White cardstock and crop with the second smallest square from the Stitched Shapes dies. Refer to photo below.

 

 

Insert the 3/4″ strip of Whisper White cardstock into the Lovely Labels pick a punch and crop the end.

 

 

Stamp the greeting onto the strip using Magenta Madness ink.

 

 

Use dimensionals to attach the two zebras facing left onto the cardfront. Adhere the greeting to the card front using Seal. Refer to photo for placement.

 

 

Adhere the Magenta Madness zebra to the card front with dimensionals, placing it over the left edge of the greeting and DSP strip. Refer to photo of card for placement.

 

Inside:

Adhere the narrow DSP strip to the Coastal Cabana strip, then adhere to the top of the remaining piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Use Magenta Madness ink to stamp the sentiment.

Stamp the party hat with Misty Moonlight ink and color the dots with the Dark Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends marker. Adhere to the remaining piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock.

Adhere completed piece to the inside of the card. Refer to photo for placement of stamped images.

 

 

Envelope:

Stamp a party hat with Misty Moonlight ink onto the lower left corner of the envelope. Color the dots with the Dark Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends marker.
