This is the first in a trio of simple cards made with the Life Is Beautiful stamp set. I love that it’s so versatile and can be used throughout the year!
Cut Cardstock:
- Card Base: Gorgeous Grape – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Magenta Madness – 5 1/4″ x 4″, Cut two
- Second Layer (front): Gorgeous Grape – 4″ x 2 3/4″
- Third Layer (front): Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 2 1/2″
- Stamped Layer: Whisper White – 4 3/4″ x 3″
- Second Layer (inside): Whisper White – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Assembly:

Use the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder to emboss one piece of Magenta Madness cardstock and adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.
Use Seal to adhere the Designer Paper to the 4 x 2 3/4″ piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock, then use seal to adhere to the front of the card slightly below center.
Crop the 4 3/4″ x 3″ piece of Whisper White cardstock with the rectangle die from the Nature’s Thoughts dies. Use Cinnamon Cider ink to stamp the tree, placing the tree trunk toward to left side. With Granny Apple ink, stamp the large dots several times over the branches of the tree. Use Magenta Madness ink to stamp the flowers several times over the branches. Refer to photo for placement.
Use the Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Write marker to color the birdhouse directly on the stamp and use the Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write marker to color the tiny birds on the same stamp.
“Huff” on the inked stamp to make sure the ink is moist, then stamp the birdhouse under the right side of the tree.
Use Memento ink to stamp the greeting under the birdhouse. Attach the stamped piece to the card front using dimensionals.
Inside:
Adhere the remaining piece of Magenta Madness cardstock to the inside of the card.
Stamp the birdhouse as you did before to the upper left corner of the remaining piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp a sentiment of your choice with Memento ink, or leave blank to write your own message. Adhere the completed piece to the inside of the card using seal.
Envelope:
Stamp a birdhouse to the lower left corner of the envelope as you did for the front of the card, using Cinnamon Cider and Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write markers.
