I know, I know. I’ve said this with every new stamp set I’ve used lately. “This set is rapidly becoming one of my favorite new stamps sets!”
But it’s SO TRUE with the Sweet As A Peach bundle!
I made three projects on my Facebook Live video this week, which you can view here on replay if you missed it. When I started playing with this set, I fell in love with the coordinating Designer Paper, the You’re A Peach DSP. And I absolutely love the stamped images.
As promised, here’s another card design using this set. Enjoy!
Cut Cardstock:
- Card Base: Balmy Blue – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two
- Second Layer: You’re a Peach DSP – 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Third Layer: You’re A Peach DSP – 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
- Greeting: Basic White – 3″ x 2″
- Peaches and Leaves: Scraps of Basic White
Assembly:
Adhere one of the larger pieces of Basic White to the card base, then layer the large piece of DSP onto the card front.
Crop the smaller piece of DSP with the largest frame from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and adhere to the card front with dimensionals.
Using Calypso Coral ink, stamp the greeting and the tiny flowers onto the 3″ x 2″ piece of Basic White cardstock, then crop with the third-largest frame from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Adhere to the card front with dimensionals.
Use Calypso Coral ink to stamp two larger peaches onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock, crop with the corresponding die. Use Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp two leaf sprays onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock and crop with the corresponding dies.
Adhere the peaches and the leaves to the card front slightly overlapping the white piece with the greeting. I slightly tuck the end of the leaf stem under the peach and allow the leaf to rest on top of the peach.
Inside:
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment and peach with Calypso Coral ink and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz onto the remaining piece of Basic White cardstock. See photo for placement. Adhere the completed piece to the inside of the card.
Envelope:
Stamp the peach and leaves onto the lower-left corner of the envelope using Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz ink.
