Beyond all the glitz and glamour of the new stamp sets, in-colors, and pretty new embellishments lies a new coloring tool better known as the “Soft Pastels Assortment.” Stampin’Up! had chalk pastels years ago, but they long retired – and we haven’t seen them in about seven years. They used to be in a palette form, and now they have returned in stick form!
It’s been many years since I’ve played with pastels, and it was fun to renew my interest in using them. For my Facebook Live video this week, I demonstrated a few different techniques for using the pastels. I had fun discovering these techniques and I hope you will too when you try them out!
