It has been my observation that we often forget about making more masculine types of cards. I know I’m guilty of making cards more traditionally suited for women or children, so I thought I’d switch it up this week and use the Feathered Flight stamp set to create some cards more suitable for men or any nature lover. The stamp set has the “distINKtive” type of stamps, which lends itself to monotone cards. If you’re not familiar with distINKtive stamps, they are very detailed and produce self-shading when you stamp with them. You don’t have to color any images, so you can whip up designs with them pretty quickly.

Here are the cardstock requirements for the Happy Birthday card:
- Card Base: Pecan Pie – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Very Vanilla – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two, crop one with the largest Deckled Rectangle Die
- Greeting: Very Vanilla 3″ x 1 1/2″
You will need the following cardstock for the Thinking of You card with the Two Ducks:
- Card Base: Pecan Pie – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
- First Layer: Very Vanilla – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two
- Second Layer: Earthen Elegance DSP – 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Third Layer: Very Vanilla – 4 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ crop with 6th largest Deckled Rectangle Die
- Circle: Pecan Pie – 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″, crop with 6th largest Deckled Circle Die
- Stamped Circle: Very Vanilla – 3″ x 3″, crop with 5th largest Deckled Circle Die
For the simple fun-fold Thinking of You card, you will need the following:
- Card Base: Pecan Pie – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ & 2 1/8″
- Second Layer: Coordinating Earthen Elegance DSP – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/4″ & 5 3/8″ x 2″
- Circles: Pecan Pie – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″, cut two, crop with the 7th largest Deckled Circle Die
- Stamped Circles: Very Vanilla – 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″, cut two, crop with the 6th largest Deckled Circle Die
