Time4Stamping Tip – Color Your Ribbon!

What do you do when you have a beautiful card or project and want a pretty bow to match, but there are no color options of ribbon that appeal to you?  You may have pink or green ribbon, but they clash with the colors in your project. White is an option but usually looks rather plain.

Here’s a tip to get the EXACT color match of ribbon you want for your project! Simply have the Silver or Gold metallic edge ribbon on hand and color it with the Stampin’ Blends marker that matches the cardstock and ink used in your project. Unroll the ribbon to the length you want and color it with the marker and you’re done!

Here’s a card I made and wanted a light purple bow to match the cardstock and flowers. I used the Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends marker to color the ribbon. Look how nicely it matches the colors in my card!
