Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so I made a couple of cute projects on my Facebook Live video this week. I used the Sweet Conversations Bundle and the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper, which are in the current Mini-Catalog, to create an easy Valentine cake treat box and a festive Tower Card. The treat box holds a package of Little Debbie Valentine cakes. I’ve seen several tower cards on different sites, but I’ve readjusted the dimensions to make it an A-2 size card, which fits into the standard medium envelopes.

I have listed the cardstock requirements for this week’s projects below.
For the treat box, you will need the following cardstock:
- Box: Real Red – 6 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, score all sides at 1″
- Slider Top: Real Red – 8″ x 4 1/2″, score the long side at 1 1/8″ – 3 3/4″ – 4 7/8″ – 7 1/2″
- Cardstock Layers: Basic White OR Blushing Bride – 4 3/8″ x 2 1/2″; 4 3/8″ x 1″ (cut 2)
- DSP Layers: Sweet Talk DSP – 4 1/4″ x 2 3/8″; 4 1/4″ x 7/8″ (cut 2)
- Hearts: Scraps of Real Red and Basic White
To make the tower card, you will need the following:
- Card Base: Blushing Bride – 8 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, refer to video for scoring and cutting lines
- Side Panels: Real Red – 5 3/8″ x 7/8″ (cut 4)
- Center Panel: Real Red – 4 1/8 x 1 3/8″
- Top and Bottom Panels: Real Red -4 1/8″ x 7/8″ cut two
- Back Center Panel: Real Red – 5 3/8″ x 2 1/8″; Basic White 5 1/4″ x 2″
- Designer Paper Layers: Sweet Talk DSP –
- Side Panels:-5 1/4″ x 3/4″ (cut 4)
- Center Panel: 4″ x 1 1/4″
- Top and Bottom Panels: – 4″ x 2/4″ (cut 2)
- Scalloped Layers: Real Red – 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″; Basic White 4″ x 3″
- Hearts: Scraps of Blushing Bride and Real Red
