FB Live Recap: Honeybee Home Cards

 

The Honeybee Home bundle was used for all of the cards I made on my Facebook Live video this week. At first glance, you wouldn’t think this set is so versatile, but with the great variety of images, sayings, dies, and the coordinating Hive embossing folder, you’ll have fun creating a wide variety of cards. I’ve listed the cardstock dimensions for each card below. I also have included a product list for everything I used to create these cards. Should you need any of these items, you can shop with me here.

 

For the white card, you need the following cardstock:
  • Card Base: Basic White – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
  • First Layer: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Second Layer: Basic White – 5 1/4″ x 4″, score 1″ from the top and also the left side at 1″ – 1 1/8″ – 1 1/4″ – 1 3/4″ – 1 1/2″
  • Stems and Greeting: Scraps of Basic White
  • Inside Layer: Basic White – 5 1/4″ x 4″

 

For the purple card, you will need the following:
  • Card Base: Highland Heather – 11″ x 4 1/4″, score at 5 1/2″
  • First Layer: Simply Marbelous DSP – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Second Layer: Highland Heather – 4 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
  • Stamped Layer: Basic White – 4″ x 2″
  • Leaves: Scraps of Granny Apple Green
  • Bee: Scrap of Basic White
  • Inside Layer: Basic White – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Inside Strips: Highland Heather – 4 1/8″ x 1/2″; Simply Marbelous DSP 4″ x 3/8″

 

For the honeycomb background card, you need the following cardstock:
  • Card Base: Basic White – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
  • First Layer: Basic Black –  5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, cut two
  • Second Layer: Bumblebee – 5 1/4″ x 4″, emboss with Hive 3-D embossing folder
  • Second Layer (inside): Basic White – 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Flowers, Bees, and Greeting: Scraps of Basic White
