This is the third notecard in my ‘This Little Piggy’ series! The piggy looks so happy just sitting in the dirt. I think he is reminding us to be content wherever we are!
Cut Cardstock:
- Card base: Use a precut notecard for the card base
- Second Layer: Granny Apple Green – 4 7/8″ x 3 3/8″ (cut two)
- Third Layer: Granny Apple Green Brights Designer Paper – 4 7/8″ x 2 1/8″
- Fourth Layer: Whisper White – 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ (for stamped image)
- Inside Layer: Whisper White – 4 5/8″ x 3 1/8″
Assembly:
Snail one piece of the Granny Apple Green cardstock to the card front. Snail the piece of Designer Paper onto the card front, slightly off center to the left side.
In order to stamp the sitting piggy without having the words ‘This Little Piggy…’ on the image, you will need to cover the words with a piece of tape before adding ink to the stamp, then remove the tape before you stamp onto the 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Cut out the image using the largest oval shape from the Stitched Shapes framelits. Using Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen, gently color the image. I used Calypso Coral for the pig, Bermuda Bay for the sky, Early Espresso for the dirt, and Old Olive for the tufts of grass. I used the Basic Gray pencil at full strength for the hooves.
Use dimensionals to attach the stamped image to the card front. Decorate the card front by placing one large, one medium and one small pearl in a downward line near the top right side of the card. Refer to photo for placement.
Inside:
Snail the remaining piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock to the inside of the notecard. Snail the piece of Whisper White cardstock to the inside as well.
